Not a bad show. And no, I'm Livin' On Babyfood is the correct title.

Average concert and recording
Doughty's voice is loud and shaky on the recording. Not really a clean recording, but not bad. Sound is a little muffled. The volume for each element goes up and down often. Set list is classic so it gets a 3.

Great set though keys are a little low in the mix, everyone else sounds great though. THis is definitely an early set as Doughty is not as comfortable with the crowd as he seems later. I believe the official name of track 14 was "Long Island Lolita."

Great Show
The date of this show is correct as far as I can tell. According to the Soul Coughing Underground site's Gigography, this would be the band's 6th ever concert. Not as good of quality as the '98 show in DC, but still pretty good. Only one song is off the 'Bliss' album, 'How Many Cans'...not sure why the first reviewer stated it was dominated by 'Bliss', oh well. This very early Soul Coughing gig is prime material for SC collector's or live show lovers in general. Oh, and track 14 is actually called 'Amy Fisher'.

Good quality, good show.
First off, I have doubts about the date of this show, as it is dominated by "Irrestible Bliss" era songs, which was released in 1996. I could be wrong, though. The quality is an A-/B+, only because it is difficult to hear Mark De Gli Antoni's keyboard/sampler on many tracks. Overall this is a great one-disc show and a fun listen.
